I've lived all over the country, but I consider Albuquerque, New Mexico, my hometown. After law school, I made Washington, DC, my new home.
I studied Philosophy and English at Georgetown University, where I was heavily involved with community service as part of the Mu Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, and graduated in 2001. After a stint teaching high school English, I attended The University of New Mexico School of Law, earning my JD in 2006. I earned an LL.M in Intellectual Property, Technology and Commerce from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2006.
I've successfully represented parents in child custody disputes, establishing parenting plans and custody arrangements in such a way to promote the children's best interests. I’ve worked with a number of clients through bankruptcy, from filing through discharge. I’ve drafted wills and other estate planning documents for families with young children. I've also worked with a number of non-profit organizations and state agencies on their trademark portfolios and have successfully registered a number of trademark applications.
I am licensed to practice in The District of Columbia and New York, and my office is located in The District.
